ABOUT

The present campus of the institute was inaugurated in 2019 as Government GNM School Akhnoor.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, sanctioned the up-gradation of Schools of Nursing under the Central Sector Scheme 'Development of Nursing Services', following which Government GNM School Akhnoor was upgraded to Government Nursing College Akhnoor in 2020. The college admitted its first batch of B.Sc. Nursing in 2021.
