AIDS Day Awareness Week 2023
As a day dedicated to raising awareness, educating and improving the understanding of HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) as a global public health problem, December 1, 2023 was observed as AIDS Day at Govt. Nursing College Akhnoor. A week long activity was organized at the institute to spread awareness regarding the HIV/AIDS.

The program saw enthusiastic participation from the students of the institute which included events like Speech making competition, Poster making competition, Rangoli making competition, Quiz competition and Nukkad Naatak.
Republic Day - 26 Jan 2024
To commemorate the adoption of Constitution of India, the Republic Day was observed here at Govt. Nursing College/ Govt. GNM School Akhnoor. The event was celebrated with great fervor and gaiety.
The program started with hoisting of national flag in the institute premises and was followed by singing of national anthem and address by the Principal Dr. Raman Kumar Bhagat.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from the staff as well as students and witnessed colorful performances in the form of singing and dancing.
